Years of Practice
My favorite drawing exercise is gesture sketching—5 to 10 second sketches, which are less about speed & more about choosing the right lines & shapes to convey the subject’s essence. It requires full attention to the present.
With your flowers, I bring together years of painting & practice with this drawing tool. The results are colorful, energetic and shaped by the moment as much as the subject occupying it.
When your guests take their flowers home, they’re also keeping a moment.
Quality Materials
I use Windsor Newton brand gouache—a highly pigmented paint similar to watercolor, with heavier body.
Each card is painted on heavyweight cotton paper & packaged in a protective sleeve to take home.
I just need a table & chair!
I will bring the necessary supplies, paper, lighting, and card display. Guests are welcome to watch, take photos and take the art any time.
